At 2T22 Mentorship, our faith and ministry are rooted in the Word of God and centred on Jesus Christ. We believe that every believer should be growing in the knowledge of God’s Word, living out its truth, sharing the gospel, and helping others grow in their faith.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for Christian faith and life. We believe believers are called not only to read Scripture, but to diligently study it, understand it in its proper context, live according to its truth, and faithfully share it with others.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death on the cross for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension, and His promised return.

Salvation

We believe all people have sinned and are in need of salvation. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Through Christ, we receive forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life. 

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is actively at work in the lives of believers, empowering us to live for Christ, understand and obey God’s Word, bear spiritual fruit, witness for Jesus, and serve the Church. We believe in the present-day operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as taught in Scripture and that believers should earnestly desire to be led and empowered by the Spirit for godly living and ministry.

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Every believer has a place in the Body and is called to worship God, grow in spiritual maturity, fellowship with other believers, use their God-given gifts, and participate in the work of Christ.

The Great Commission

We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for everyone and that every believer has a part to play in making Christ known. We are called to share the gospel, make disciples, and teach others to follow Jesus. 

Discipleship and Spiritual Multiplication

We believe discipleship is an essential part of the Christian life. Following the pattern of 2 Timothy 2:2, we believe what we learn should not end with us. As we grow in God’s Word, we should become equipped to help others grow—who, in turn, can teach and disciple others.

We study the Word so that we may know Christ, live faithfully, share the gospel, and help others do the same.
